Lance was born and raised on his family’s ranch in South Central Montana. He was born “with a gun in his hands“ so to speak. His father is an avid gun lover so therefore Lance was brought up in the firearms world from day one. Lance attended college in Sheridan Wyoming for machining after he graduated high school. After he graduated college, Lance returned to the family ranch where he and his dad ran the ranch together.  Lance would work on firearms every night after the ranch chores were done. Lance also became close friends with the legendary John Linebaugh of Clark Wyoming. John and Lance spent countless weekends together building guns, talking guns and in turn they became good friends. John mentored Lance in the big bore firearms world.  In 2018 Lance chose to pursue his dream of gunsmithing full-time and he and his wife relocated to Powell Wyoming. In his spare time, Lance enjoys spending time outdoors. Helping at the ranch. Running antique steam tractors. Riding horses. Fishing and hunting. And spending time with good friends.
